Sempersonus was present at the Roma hi-fidelity show that took place last weekend (23-24 November).
Defending our “colours” was our importer / distributor for Italy – Musica & Video from Ravenna. They had a new Te2 in a prominent place in their room and it generated quite a lot of interest. In fact the room was packed most of the time !
For this show, the Te2 was assembled with a TW Raven tonearm and a Lyra cartridge.
Sempersonus, through his Italian distributor – Musica & Video – will be present at Roma Hi-Fidelity show, that will take place on November, 23-24 at the Mercure West Hotel in Roma, Italy. Announcement here.
We are very pleased to annouce that, following a long-standing fruitful relationship with Musica & Video, based on the Ravenna region of Italy, they were appointed as our exclusive distributor in Italy for Sempersonus products.
From now on, our first commercially available turntable – the TE2 – can be auditioned at their showroom in Piangipane, equipped with a TW Raven 10.5 tonearm and a Lyra Kleos cartridge.
Musica & Video will also be present at the Roma Hi-fidelity show that will take place on November 23-24th. There, our TE2 will be on display in their stand, for static viewing.

Good news from our presence at CAF 2018…
A couple of good quality videos from our TT playing at CAF 2018. Enjoy !
Myles Astor considered our room at CAF as one of the best of the whole show ! Not bad, being part of 6 in 67… You can see his whole final report here, and his comment on our room just below.
GT Audioworks GTA3r ribbon planar speakers/PASS electronics/Semper Sonus turntable/Triode Wire Labs cabling
A big step up from last year’s sound. Improvements all around including but not limited to just the speakers, front-end source and electronics. The system had a huge but not overblown soundstage in this large room. What really defined the sound of this system was its midrange, transparency and detail (without straying into that hyperdetailed region). There’s no question that this system is capable of even better sound with, for instance, a bit better cartridge. Maybe even a touch better integration in the low end in a better room.
Some more feedback on our CAF 2018 room that I was able to find…
